Dear fellow friends, teachers, parents, students, and members of the community, it gives me great pleasure and honor to write to you on behalf of Nusaju. I would like to seize this opportunity to thank you all for your unanimous support on the Nusaju Programme.
In the modern era where globally and widely spoken English often been referred to as a “world language” or the lingua franca, Yayasan Nusaju has come alive with the aim to serve as a platform in enhancing the usage of English language amongst the children in rural areas. Nusaju was first initiated in Petaling Jaya before it shifted to Pekan, Pahang. Since its inception in 2002 till date, Nusaju has successfully developed 15 learning centres and nearly 5600 students have benefited from the programme. |

One used to wonder about the future for which rural students have to face compares to their counterparts in the city when it comes to communicating in English. What’s the future holds for them. This is where the Nusaju Learning Center comes into the picture. The purpose of implementation of Nusaju Programmes is to bridge the communication gap between the students in rural areas as well as to create K-student by providing a specially formulated English Learning Programmes.
With the establishment of these centres, we hope that the rural students will have the competitive edge and be able to improve and enhance their English communication skills and at the same time, the programme will also create awareness among rural students on the importance of English language. Through Nusaju as a platform, the children will learn to integrate amongst communities, making them expose and broadening their horizons. Our programme involves the teachers, children, parents, village chiefs and the public which they would interact amongst each other. It creates team building, learning of new ideas and tackling social problems as well as promoting social goodwill. Even participation from schools is encouraged as they would be able to identify students who are weak linguistically which Nusaju would groom them through our activities.
With the mandate given by the people and Government, Nusaju will strive even harder to ensure our children would be given the opportunity to see a brighter future. For that, I would like to salute to those who supported Nusaju all these years. Nusaju success cannot solely be attributed to its employees but most and foremost is that Nusaju has the unconditional support from the people as well as the authorities for the teaching of English. Once again, thank you everyone!
